Milia Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Milia application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). These Terms form a legal agreement between you and AppForges. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices or similar means. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Milia is a shared space and instant messaging app for family and close friends. The current version provides: - Creating or joining spaces for family and friends - Sending text messages and images - Multi-device sync and offline message delivery - Push notifications for new messages

We iterate on the product continuously. We strive to provide a stable and reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.

3. Account

Using Milia requires signing in with an AppForges unified account (phone number or email). You agree to: - Provide true and accurate registration information - Keep your account credentials secure - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account - Be responsible for activity under your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of consent in your region) to use Milia.

You can delete your account at any time in the app: go to Me → Settings → Account Security → Delete Account.

4. User Content

Content you send or upload through Milia (including messages and images, "User Content") belongs to you.

To provide the service to you and the people you share with (for example storing, transmitting, and syncing messages across devices), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license used solely to operate and improve the service. This license ends when you delete the content or delete your account.

5. Community Guidelines and Enforcement

You are responsible for the User Content you post. You agree not to post: - Content that violates laws or regulations - Content that threatens, abuses, or harasses others, or invades their privacy - Content that infringes intellectual property rights - Pornographic, violent, terrorist, or otherwise objectionable content - Spam or unsolicited commercial content

Milia provides reporting and blocking tools: you can report violating content or users in the app, and block someone to stop receiving their messages. We review and act on reports as quickly as we can.

For violations of these guidelines, we may — depending on severity — remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts.

6. Prohibited Conduct

When using Milia, you agree not to: - Use the App for any unlawful purpose - Impersonate any person or organization - Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers - Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts - Access the App by automated means without permission - Distribute malware or harmful code

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the App — including software, interface design, trademarks, and documentation — belongs to AppForges and is protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Free Service

The current version of Milia is free of charge, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.

If we introduce paid features in the future, we will clearly announce them in advance and provide separate terms, and you can decide whether to use them.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or absolutely secure, and we do not warrant against data loss caused by service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AppForges is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

If you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct, we may suspend or terminate your account after reasonable notice; in serious cases, we may suspend or terminate immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time through the in-app account deletion flow or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring the dispute before a court of competent jurisdiction.
