These Terms apply to your use of Snimple, a macOS app provided by AppForges (Qiheng Technology). Please read these Terms and the Privacy Policy (https://appforges.com/legal/privacy/snimple) before using the app. Snimple is a local screenshot, annotation, and sharing tool with no account, cloud service, or in-app purchases.
Snimple offers region, full-screen, and delayed screenshots, local annotation, copying, saving, dragging, and access to the macOS system share sheet. Screenshot features require the macOS Screen Recording permission. Those features may be unavailable if you revoke it.
Snimple is free forever, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads. You remain responsible for costs associated with your device, operating system, or any third-party service you choose to use. Snimple has no paid plan.
You retain your rights in screenshots and annotations that you are entitled to use. You are responsible for ensuring that you may capture, edit, and share what appears on your screen and for checking private information and recipients before sharing. Do not use Snimple to violate the law or others' rights.
Snimple processes images locally, keeps no in-app screenshot history, and does not upload screenshots automatically. When you choose to copy, save, drag, or use the system share sheet, the image goes to the local destination or recipient app you select. That app or service describes its own handling in its terms and privacy policy. Mosaic annotation can help cover part of an image, but please inspect the finished image before sharing it.
You may use Snimple on supported Macs in accordance with these Terms. Intellectual property rights in the app, its interface, and its marks belong to AppForges or their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer those rights or limit your lawful rights in your own screenshots.
Snimple is provided as is. We aim to maintain the app, but availability depends on your macOS version, system permissions, and device environment, so we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may issue fixes or updates and will explain changes affecting important features or data practices. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
You may stop using and uninstall Snimple at any time. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete screenshots you saved, material copied to the clipboard, or files passed to another app. Manage those copies in their respective locations or apps.
If we materially change these Terms, we will update this page and its effective date and provide additional notice before the change takes effect where appropriate. You may stop using Snimple. Continued use after a change is governed by the then-effective Terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. We will first seek to resolve disputes through discussion; unresolved disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction.
